解説

紺碧の空にそそり立つ富士と、その雲海に飛遊する勇壮な双龍の姿。富士は人間精神の崇高さを象徴し、そして龍は天と地をつなぎ、人間の夢と希望を具現化させる神獣である。現実と空想を共存させた自由奔放な絹谷ワールドが展開されている。相対するものを包み込む「不二法門」の世界観がここに息づいている。
2000年代に入り、絹谷藝術は静謐と激情的な画風が交互に生まれ、日本的あるいは東洋的な画題が主流となって行った。静と動、そして虚実に彩られた豊穣なるイメージ世界の幕開けである。

Commentary

Mt. Fuji stretches out magnificently under the blue sky. In the clouds, two dragons fly proudly. Mt. Fuji represents the dignity of the human spirit. The dragons are divine beasts that connect heaven and earth. They are also the embodiment of dream and hope. Kinutani creates a world that lets fantasy and reality exist together. The philosophy of “Funihomon” lives in this painting.
From the 2000’s, Kinutani created tranquil and passionate works one after another. Japanese or Asian themed works gradually became the center of his creations. A rich world of stillness and motion, truth and falsehood opens its curtain.
