ICOM（International Council of Museums：国際博物館会議）は、ミュージアムの発展を目的とした世界で唯一かつ最大の国際的非政府組織になります。
1946年に創設され、世界141か国と地域から37,000人のミュージアム関係者が加入しています。

3年ごとに世界規模で大会が開催されており、来年2019年に、日本（京都）で初めて開催されることになりました。
世界141の国と地域から3000人を超える博物館の専門家が京都に集まります。
日本のアート界にとっては素晴らしいことです。

The International Council of Museums (ICOM) is the international organisation representing museums and museum professionals from 141 countries and territories in the worldwide.
Every three years, ICOM's General Conference is held.
The upcoming Conference will be held in Kyoto, Japan, from September, 2019.
