展覧会開催のお知らせ

このたび、絹谷幸二 天空美術館では特別展「ヴェネツィア祝歌」を開催いたします。

会期：令和5年7月7日（金）～12月10日（日）
会場：絹谷幸二 天空美術館
入館料：一般1000円、大学・高校・中学生600円、小学生以下無料、団体・障害割引有

本展覧会は、奈良県立万葉文化館が開催する「飛鳥の祝歌 絹谷幸二展」との連携展示として、飛鳥（奈良）とともに絹谷藝術にとってもう一つの原風景と言える、若き日に留学をしたヴェネツィアに焦点を当てています。
「それまで私を束縛してきた日本的なるものが飛び散って、赤でも青でも、どんなイタリアの光彩も受け入れられると思った。」と当時を回想するように、ヴェネツィアでの体験は絹谷のそれまでの価値観や美意識を一変させたのでした。
　この「ヴェネツィア祝歌」は、眩い色彩を放つ絹谷藝術の原点を振り返る機会であり、絹谷ワールド誕生へのオマージュでもあります。

This event is a collaboration with the " Koji Kinutani exhibition - Asuka no Hoki Uta (Anthem of Asuka)" to be held by the Nara Prefectural Manyo Cultural Center, focusing on Venice, which could be regarded as another archetypal landscape for Kinutani's art, alongside that of Asuka (Nara).
"My Japanese sensibilities, or Japaneseness, that had bound me until then were blown asunder, and I realized that I could accept any kind of Italian brilliance, be it red or blue. " As recalled by Kinutani, his Venice experiences have totally changed his set of values and aesthetics.
This "Venezia Iwai Uta(Anthem of Venice) " is an opportunity to look back to the genesis of Kinutani's art with its dazzling colors, and it is also a homage to the birth of Koji Kinutani World.
